TOWN OF SPRINGDALE PUBLIC NOTICE OF
2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL POSITIONS TO BE FILLED
Pursuant to Section 10-3-301(2)(a) of the Utah Code, PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Municipal Offices in the TOWN OF SPRINGDALE to be voted on in the 2025 Municipal Election are:
(1) Mayor position – 4-year term
(2) Town Council positions – 4-year term each
If necessary, a Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Interested Springdale Town residents may declare their candidacy in person with the Town Clerk’s Office, from Monday, June 2, 2025, through Friday, June 6, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Springdale Town Offices, 118 Lion Boulevard, Springdale, Utah 84767.
Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Registered voter in the Town of Springdale
- Must have resided within the municipality for which the candidate is seeking office for 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election.
- Maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality, and within the district that the elected officer represents, during the officer's term of office
- Not convicted of a felony, treason, crime, or offense relating to elections
- Cannot have been declared mentally incompetent
Please note: Due to recent changes to state code, additional forms are required at the time of candidacy declaration. Individuals who are interested in running for office are encouraged to contact the Town Clerk’s office prior to the declaration of candidacy period to determine which forms are applicable.
