Public Hearing Notice for 04/12/23 Town Council and 04/19/23 Planning Commission meetings



The Springdale Town Council and Planning Commission will hold public hearings as described below.  The hearings will be held at the Canyon Community Center, 126 Lion Boulevard, Springdale, UT 84767.


Springdale Town Council

Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 5:00 PM


  1. Ordinance 2023-04: Changes to Chapter 10-20 of the Town Code, prohibiting the creation of new split-zoned parcels (properties with more than one zoning designation), and adding standards for new development on existing split-zoned parcels


Springdale Planning Commission

Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 5:00 PM


  1. Revised DDR: Andy Green requests a revision to a previously approved Design/Development Review for six housing units on parcel S-BIT-3-B in the VC zone
  2. Design/ Development Review: Nate Wells requests DDR approval for a concealed attached wireless communication facility on the roof of Happy Camper Market at 95 Zion Park Blvd, located in the VC zone
  3. Ordinance Revision: Addition of Chapter 10-13G to the Town Code, adopting a workforce housing overlay zone which would allow increased density (units per acre) for residential developments targeted to employees of local businesses

This notice is intended to comply with the requirements of Utah State Code sections 10-9A-205 and 10-5-108 concerning notifying the public of upcoming public hearings.

Staff reports with more detailed information about the matter(s) addressed in the public hearing will be available on the Friday prior to each meeting, on the Town’s website ( 

The public is invited to provide written comment on the matter(s) at least two days in advance of the public hearing or attend in person to provide verbal comments during the public hearing portion of the public meeting.
