CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The Rockville-Springdale Fire District fire
department is looking for a few good men and
women. If you’re looking for a way to get
involved in your community, meet new people,
and really make a difference, consider
joining the fire department.
There are a variety of jobs available in the
department. If you don’t think you are cut
out for the rigors of front-line fire
fighting, don’t let that stop you from
checking out other options. The department
needs engineers, drivers and support
personnel, as well as fire fighters.
Talk to Chief Ryan Ballard (669-0549) or
Captain Joe Barker (680-9193) about ways you
can be involved.
If you want to meet some of your great fire
volunteers and see what it’s like to be part
of a great team, you’re welcome to stop by
at one of our training sessions on Tuesday
nights at 5:00 p.m. at the fire station.
