The Town of Springdale in cooperation with Zion National Park will celebrate the 14th Annual Zion Canyon Earth Day in Springdale on Saturday April 21, 2018.
The festival is a sustainability-focused, educational event. Live solar powered music will be accompanied by art and food vendors as well as educational demonstrations about alternative energy, native plants, local environmental issues and sustainable products. There is fun for the whole family and plenty of activities for the kids.
This free event, including a silent auction and beer and wine garden, takes place on the lawn of the Bit and Spur Restaurant at 1212 Zion Park Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local bands will be performing a variety of music from Folk, Elemental Sounds and Flamenco Rhythms to Rock and Roll.

The Town of Springdale is continuing its efforts to offset the energy used in public facilities to solar power and currently has 96.4 kW solar capacity installed. The Town of Springdale has been recognized as an EPA Green Power Community since 2008.
